Day 4: Simple Sentences

Subject-Object-Verb Structure

안녕하세요! Welcome to Day 4! Now that you've built a foundation with basic vocabulary and numbers, it's time to start forming sentences. Korean sentences generally follow a Subject-Object-Verb (SOV) structure, which is different from the Subject-Verb-Object (SVO) structure commonly used in English.

  • English: I (S) love (V) K-pop (O).
  • Korean: 나는 (S) K-pop을 (O) 좋아해 (V).

K-pop Tip: When tweeting or messaging about your favorite K-pop group, using simple sentences in Korean can earn you major fan points!
